50 Years, Thats a Long Time...

This weekend was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary!! They deserve a pat on the back! Our family also has yet another wedding coming up in October. Congrats Mandy & Marcus, hope you make 50 wonderful years together!! There really isn't anything exciting going on at the moment in our world. Just working hard so the bills get paid, and trying to rest as often as possible. Hope everyone has a great September, and I will try to update more often!!

I'm Still Here!!!

Well it has been a while since I have had time to stop and write! The last few weeks have been interesting!! John and I have been a little busy with work (Thank Goodness!!) and just relaxing on the weekends, nothing exciting! We have acquired a new pet, her name is Saleen, kitty pics coming soon! She showed up a week ago, and never went away! I just have too big of a heart not to keep her. John had an accident last Tuesday, and sort of caught fire on his arm!! He was trying to burn a brush pile in the back yard and poured a little gas on it, well you can picture what happened next. He burned his arm in two places and a little bit of his face, but his face just looked like a bad sunburn for a few days. We had to stay overnight at the hospital because they were afraid that he inhaled some of the flame and his air passages were going to begin to swell. But none of that happened and everything is fine now, just have to change his dressings two times a day! Its actually starting to look a lot better! Getting excited about my mom moving closer! Can't wait to see her new house, and I think she is excited too and is just holding it all in! If anyone deserves a new house its her! Love you MOM!! (Stop reading this and get packing!!!!) That is the news for now, if anyone wants to see the pics of John's arm let me know! I didn't want to put them up here so people weren't forced to look! It's Birthday Time!!

Well today is the day, I am offically 27 years old!! I sure don't feel like it, and I hope that is a good sign! I have finally accepted the fact that I am going to grow older in years, but don't have to in mind!! I like the sounds of that! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!! Love you all!

Hooray, these are the beautiful roses that my mammaw gave me for my birthday today!! They are so pretty I had to share!!

My wonderful husband gave me a back porch for my birthday, they formed it up on Wednesday!!

First Upgrade!!!

Well we finally got new living room furniture! Thought we would never find something that we both liked, but we did!! It is huge, and soooo comfy! Now we just have to decide what color to paint the walls!! Wonder what kind of cool stuff I will get for the house for my Birthday!!!! 8 days and counting!!!

This is what Rex enjoys doing all day long!! He goes from window to window looking for squirrels! It does no good to clean the lower windows in my house!!

I know that the walls are a bit empty, we are working very hard to get the rest of our things here and put together the way we want it! Just have to wait or come over and check it out yourself!! Can't wait to entertain everyone at my house for once!!!

Moving???!!!

Well we closed on the house Friday, and have attempted to move in!! The rain continues to hold us back from completely moving everything!! We got our bedroom furniture and the kitchen table delivered! Still no mattress, and still no living room! but the place is cleaned and just waiting! Will post pics when everything is more in order. Happy Memorial Day to everyone.

Sierra

Poor baby!! Looks like she is about to scream!! So far I hear that she doesn't like to be wet, at all!! Mom will be glad when potty training comes around for that one!!

Meet Sierra Rose Waneck

Miss Sierra Rose was born to proud parents Codi & Thomas (my cousins) on May 22, 2007. She was born at 4:38 AM, weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs. 12 oz., and was 20 1/2 in. long!! Welcome to the family, let the spoiling begin!

Our House

This is our new house! I know these pictures are not great, but they are better than nothing!! I love my great big front yard!

This view is as you walk in the front door. The spare rooms are to the right, the master is to the left, and the kitchen is in the back!

Look at all those cabinents you guys get to help me fill!! LOL!! I was told today that we may close as soon as early next week! We are so excited, and we can't wait to have people over!

Doctor's visit

Well I went to the doctor today. The only thing he was able to tell me was that it could have been a number of things and that he wanted to do blood work. Well he did blood work alright! Thirteen viles of blood later, hopefully this will tell us something! Something, meaning everything will come back alright and this miscarriage will just be a fluke. I go back on the 29th for the lab results and an ultrasound (u/s). He also said, NO GETTING PREGNANT, until my three month waiting period is over. He wants me to be completely healed, and healthy before we try again in order to reduce any further risks I may have. He did say that when I so get my next BFP (Big Fat Positive) that he would probably administer progesterone to help me out. That's all for now, just waiting, waiting, waiting!

House

Well we got our home inspection done this morning, and everything was good! There were only three minor things that he found, and he also said that the house was well maintained and well built! This is all great news, will try to post pics ASAP!! We should be closing sometime around the end of the month. Originaly the closing was set for the 28th, but that is Memorial Day, so hopefully just before or just after that!

Thank You

As many of you may already know, we lost the baby. We are heartbroken, but willing to pick our heads up and go on. We will just try again. We would like to thank each of you for all of your love and support. I will continue to update you on our lives in general! Our new focus will be our new house that we will hopefully be closing on soon. Again, we love you all, and thank you for all of your love and support, especially now.

Five Weeks

This week the baby is about 1.25 mm long, the heart is staring to develop, along with the brain, spinal cord, and bones. I feel fine, but due to some concerns, the doctor has put me on temporary bed-rest. I will keep you all informed as things progress. Please keep us in your prayers.

Welcome!

I want to welcome my new nephew, Hendrix Dane Scott, to the world today! He is beautiful, and we are excited to finally meet him!

Shopping!!

I got to go shopping today, and never had to leave my house!! I have some wonderful friends who loaned me pounds of maternity wear!! I think that was the best time I have ever had shopping cause almost everything was a little big!! By the way, my first doctors appointment will be on May 11.

Its REAL!!!

Well, daddy had a slight freak out last night! It finally hit him that this was all REAL!!! It was so cute! I also found out that my health insurance is not going to cover anything about maternity, so I applied for the Maternity Card which will discount everything and give John some benefits. But I will still take any and all donations!!! So I guess I will be going to the doctor sooner than I thought!

We're Pregnant!

Well, John went out of town Friday afternoon to a truck rodeo in Alto, TX. I decided that I was going to go get some groceries and come back and relax. Earlier that day I had bought some (5) pregnancy tests 3 regular and 2 digital!! Later that evening I decided to use one and well, got a little more than I expected! The test on top was the first one I did. You can barely see the first line, but trust me it is there! The digital one I did the next morning!
