Nothin Much

There really isn't much to say latley, can you tell!! We have been really busy with work this month, so that is good! The only complaint with that is that ALL of our customers think they are the only one and their job should be done the day after it is ordered!! I wish people...there are only two of us!

We did however get a chance to go camping two weekends in a row at Lake Somerville! The first weekend R.R. went with us, and we did aboslutley nothin!! It was heavenly, I literally read a book ALL DAY saturday!! The next weekend we went back with the Patch's and took some pretty cute kids with us!! We were worried that the rain would wash us away, but after about noon it went away and the sun peaked out from behind the clouds! We were able to get some tubing and swimming in for the kids, and came back for a nice relaxing evening!

The next two weeks is family, family, family again! A special little girl is turning three on the 22nd, then D graduates from High School!! It is going to be a busy summer, I can't wait! Hopefully some baby news to follow soon, but we will see. Have a great end of spring, cause summers gonna be hot!!

You have made us all so very proud of you! I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday, you were a blessing then and nothing has changed! I know that you will be successfull in whatever it is you decide to do! It has been a pleasure watching you grow into the man you have become today. Love you!

Granny,
I think about you everyday. It is funny how you pop up in so many unexpected places, you have changed my life forever and for that I thank you. Your so called unconventional ways have proven to be very helpful and soothing for me. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you! I love you and miss you!

Mammaw Linkhart,
I am so proud to be able to say that I am your great-grandaughter! You are a part of me in every way, and on a daily basis. I love that I get to see you in mammaw all the time. You have left a legacy that you should be proud of. We love you and miss you.

Can't wait for a fun filled family reunion this saturday! I haven't seen most of this side of the family for about 15 or 20 years!! It will be interesting to see how people have changed! I wonder who I will recognize and who will recognized me!! Who am I kidding, they will all know that I am Donna's kid I look just like her!! Cute aren't we!!! Going Crazy!

There is so much going on I don't even know where to start! I guess with baby info., J and I went to see a new fertility specialist! He didn't give us great news, but its news and now we know what needs to be done! We were told that I only had a 1% change of ever becoming pregnant with P.C.O.S.(Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). BOOOOOOOO :( He wants us to do Hormone replacement injections, and guaranteed that we will get pregnant that way. He just can't guarantee how many babies we will have at one time...that has got J kinda scared of it, well that and the price tag! So needless to say we are saving our pennies (and of course taking any donations!!!) so we can give it a shot! I still have some work to do on J to make sure he is completely on board!

On top of the stress of worrying about all of that, J's dad was put on medical leave without pay! We have started the disability process (which is not fast enough) and trying to figure out how he is going to pay his bills since he has NO INCOME! I think it is ridiculous that an employer can stop paying an employee that has been with the company for 35 yrs. because of a health condition. They should have to wait until he has been accepted for disability before they can just say, sorry we aren't going to pay you anymore. UGH...can you tell I am frustrated by all of this! Social Security is not any better, they said he didn't qualify for temporary pay because he made too much money! Can you believe that, he has NO INCOME and made too much money to get temporary help from the government...I guess you have to be lazy and not work in order for the government to help you! It is sad the way our government treats the elderly who pay their dues and actually need the help. If he didn't have someone helping him, he would loose his health insurance, be evicted from his home, and still have no income. My big mouth is good for something I guess!

On a lighter side I am excited about our Williams Family Reunion this weekend! I will get to see family that I haven't seen in years! It will be so much fun to catch up and see everybody as an adult now! I think the last time I saw many of these people I was 10 or so!! Any way, that is all that is going on for now!! Busy Year!

So far this year has been non-stop! I am not complianing by any means, but I can't wait for a vacation!! We have been busy with work, which is a big change from last year!! Things seem to be moving in the right direction for us! This new positive attitude is working for me! I wish I had more details to give, but other than work and the occasional hanging out with friends...life is pretty boring right now! Till next time...

New Year...New Me...

I have decided that this year will be different. It will be different because I will be more positive and live my life to the fullest. I will be more optimistic, more forgiving and let the little things role off my back. I am going to be healthier, make better decisions about my health, and make people listen when I say I don't feel right! I am going to work hard, and hardly work all at the same time!! I am going to attempt to go back to school, I will find a way to afford it eventually! So that explains it...New Year...New Me!

I'm Back!!

Well it has been a while since I made a post and I apologize for that! I recently got a new laptop and will try my best to keep things more updated! Where to start first...

John and I finally tied the knot! We had a huge group of friends and family come to our house to help us celebrate! We had a live band, good food, and great company! Thanks too all who came to share in our day!

Keith also tied the knot! Yep, he's a married man!! That still sounds funny to me!! He and Sarah had a wonderful honeymoon and are doing well!

John and I have been occupied with work quite a bit latley, and are not complaining at all! It beats the alternative! We have been talking a lot about expanding the company and building our office. We hope to have something done within the next six months. We have also been talking a lot about babies!! YAY! I have finally found a doctor that has really helped me. I was able to finally get a diagnosis after six years of wondering. I had two 1cm polyps in my uterus, which they removed, and have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Sydrome. I was told that my chances of getting pregnant were good, but I would need a little help. I will have to use fertitly treatment drugs in order to become pregnant. It is a scary thought, but the chances of multiples are low! I am at a point in my life where I will take whatever I am given, wheather it means one or more! I actually started the treatment just a few days ago, so we are keeping our fingers crossed! More updates to come soon.

Please Forgive Me!

I have been a horrible blogger, I know! Things have been up and down and then back up again lately! Where do I start? The beginning of 2009 was filled with doctor's appointments (check-ups only, everyone is fine), work, and planning! Finally work has picked up some, we are finally beginning to see the flicker of light at the end of the tunnel! Barely, but it is there!

We have decided that we are going to make getting pregnant a priority! I have been to the doctor and have been given a clean bill of health! Lets hope everything sticks this time! I hear that the pregnancy bug is in the air all of the sudden, that's the bug I hope catches me! I expect lots of prayers for this!

John and I also decided that after almost nine years that we should finally get married and make it legal! Woo Hoo! We did that on March 27, 2009! I will have pictures posted as soon as I get them back! Here are two of our "Engagement" Pictures!

On a sadder note...I was in a pretty bad car accident on March 11. I am ok, although I am not real sure how. This is do have pictures of, and will post them. Here is how it happened; I was driving on a two lane road (Roberts Cemetery Rd.) in the miata that was my grandmothers, going the opposite direction was a Ford F-250 truck that was driving really close to the center lane. I decided that I should slow down in case she crossed left of center, and when I put my foot on the brake I began to spin. I could not control it no matter what I did, so I just tried to relax and wait. Well, I hit a tree with the passenger side door then went airborne and went between two trees and fell about 20 to 25 feet down and landed on the passenger side in about 4 feet of water (creek). I was able to unbuckle my seat belt and kick out the windshield to crawl out of the car. Amazingly the only injury that I had was a puncture on my right pinkie knuckle, and a cut on the back of my foot from the windshield. The car however, is totaled. I believe that someone had their arms wrapped around me, whether it be my grandmother, or my guardian angel I don't know. I am just thankful to be alive, and I have opened my eyes to the world around me. Life is too short for drama and stupidity, have fun, live for yourself, love like everyday is your last. Seems Like Yesterday

that I was only 18 and just beginning to find out who I really was. Now it is a decade later, and I feel like I am still that 18 year old girl! Hard to believe!! I sometimes have to stop and remember what I have accomplished in the last ten years, doesn't feel like much until I think about it! I have found the love of my life, which is not any easy task, but I got lucky. We have built a wonderful life together by starting our own company. I have to say that not many people I know have done this, and it is one the things I am most proud of. We have bought our own home, and maintained our sanity in the process! I have to say that the last two days I have sat around feeling sorry for myself because the plan that I had in my head didn't work out the way I wanted it to. I thought by now that I would be a mom at least once, if not twice. But I have to remember that not everything happens the way you plan. Everything happens for a reason, I keep telling myself that, but I am not sure I believe it yet. I am lucky to have the things that I do in my life and I am thankful for all of it, but selfishly I want more...is that too much to ask? The hardest thing for me to do right now is hear about everyones pregnancies and be happy for them (and I am happy for them, just hard to show it sometimes). I know that I will be given that gift when I am ready for it...just feel like that is now. No more feeling sorry for myself, I have more than some could ever dream of...great husband, great family, great friends, great home, great business(s). I am blessed, and I know it.

Got an early Birthday Present!!

I think that this is the earliest that I have ever gotten a birthday present! I am so excited! John finally decided that we needed a pool! It might be a cheesy wal-mart pool, but it is a stepping stone for the bigger and better! It is 18ft. by 48in., that's pretty big! So if you need me for the rest of the summer/warm months, I will be relaxing in the pool! Although, of course, as soon as we get a pool the weather changes and it is going to be cloudy and rainy here the whole week! Just our luck! I will take some pictures soon so you can see my "ghetto fabulous" pool!

Great Weekend

We had a good weekend filled with freinds and family! On Friday night I had a Grand Opening party for my new Pampered Chef Business! We had a great time and everything went smoothly! I don't think I I did too bad for my very first show! On Saturday we rested the day away, that is always my favorite thing to do on a weekend! We went to my mom and stepdads house to celebrate his birthday and fathers day! We ate good ribs, had good conversation, and swam till it was cold believe it or not! Sunday was also relaxing, John had lunch with his dad and worked on his "wagon"! I went to my dads and ate and watched a movie. When we got home, we ate dinner and watched movies!! Couldn't ask for better, I love easy weekends!

Life got in the Way

I know, I know! I took too long to post AGAIN! There really feels like there isn't much to say though. I feel old, I realized that I have been graduated from High School for ten years already! It feels like yesterday that I was in school! I started a new business in May, I am now a Pampered Chef Consultant!! So start booking your parties so you can get some free cookware!
I am so proud of Keith, he has a new job and is doing Great (with a capital G!) He is also dating a wonderful girl whom we all LOVE! Her name is Sarah and she is a first grade teacher in The Woodlands, she has lots of patients! LOL!! She is such a good teacher that the Conroe Courier did an article about her and her classroom! Way to go Sarah!


The kittens are now 9 weeks old and are all over the place! We still have three that need a good home, know anyone?!! We ended up with four girls and one boy! It is going to be soooo hard to give these little angles away! The one who stole our hearts was my Addy! She was the second kitten to be born and Saleen didn't rip her sack open right away, so I had to do it because she wasn't moving anymore. But she is fine now and has John and I eating right out of the palm of her hand!! LOL The little grey one is going to the home of some friends of ours. Their kids picked her out about two weeks after they were born. She is the mischievous, stubborn one!! The kids are gonna have fun with her!!! The sleepy one is Weezy! Yes, like from Steel Magnolia's!
She is just like that character, it is so funny! She is minds while you are watching, then when you turn around there she goes!! She is very quite too, but when she meows, you better listen up cause here she comes!!! She happens to be a little spastic too, but still sweet in her own little way!! Then there is the Momma's Boy! I should call this one John, but for now its just Mommas Boy!! He is the sweetest little thing, but ALWAYS wants to eat and is always up his mommas butt! He likes all the attention from whomever he can get it from! Most of the time he is the first one asleep and the last one to wake up! He is a typical little boy in that he likes to get dirty and make a mess. He is the only one who strings his toys all over the place! The last and final one, is my little Peanut. Bless her heart Peanut was the runt of the litter and her brother and sisters were not very nice to her. They pick on her and I am pretty sure it hurts her feelings. Most of the time you can find her by herself and it breaks my heart in two. She has become very independent, but still sweet. She doesn't like it when I try to love on her unless she has just woken up from her nap, and I give her all I have when I can. I hope her new home is full of love, because she deserves it. I think she just needs someone who will focus on just her. Well, didn't realize that they had become such a part of me. I am tearing up at the thought of them leaving me! I am going to go cry now, LOL! See you soon.

Well Saleen had her kittens this afternoon! She had five healthy babies and is doing fine, but she is exhausted!! She didn't have much trouble and it was all over in an hour and a half, I did have to help her break the sacs of kitty's 2-5 though. Here are some pics cause I know thats all you care about!!

Still Here

Yes, I know it has been a very long time since I have posted anything! What can I say I must be a bad blogger! There has been quite a bit going on since the beginning of the year. John and I both lost grandmothers, we have been to one conference and one class for work, we have been to a wedding shower, and will attend a wedding(Congrats Mike and Nicole) on the 12th! Lets just say that the beginning of the year has been extremely emotional, and crazy so far.

Among all of the craziness our little girl(the cat, don't freak out!) came up pregnant. She is due any day now and is completely miserable! She looks like she swallowed a whole cantaloupe and waddles around the house!! If you would like a kitty just let me know, I will be glad to give you one, or two!! LOL!! I will post pics of kittens when they arrive!

She sleeps all day and comes up with some funny positions to lay in!!

50 Years, Thats a Long Time...

This weekend was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary!! They deserve a pat on the back! Our family also has yet another wedding coming up in October. Congrats Mandy & Marcus, hope you make 50 wonderful years together!! There really isn't anything exciting going on at the moment in our world. Just working hard so the bills get paid, and trying to rest as often as possible. Hope everyone has a great September, and I will try to update more often!!

I'm Still Here!!!

Well it has been a while since I have had time to stop and write! The last few weeks have been interesting!! John and I have been a little busy with work (Thank Goodness!!) and just relaxing on the weekends, nothing exciting! We have acquired a new pet, her name is Saleen, kitty pics coming soon! She showed up a week ago, and never went away! I just have too big of a heart not to keep her. John had an accident last Tuesday, and sort of caught fire on his arm!! He was trying to burn a brush pile in the back yard and poured a little gas on it, well you can picture what happened next. He burned his arm in two places and a little bit of his face, but his face just looked like a bad sunburn for a few days. We had to stay overnight at the hospital because they were afraid that he inhaled some of the flame and his air passages were going to begin to swell. But none of that happened and everything is fine now, just have to change his dressings two times a day! Its actually starting to look a lot better! Getting excited about my mom moving closer! Can't wait to see her new house, and I think she is excited too and is just holding it all in! If anyone deserves a new house its her! Love you MOM!! (Stop reading this and get packing!!!!) That is the news for now, if anyone wants to see the pics of John's arm let me know! I didn't want to put them up here so people weren't forced to look! It's Birthday Time!!

Well today is the day, I am offically 27 years old!! I sure don't feel like it, and I hope that is a good sign! I have finally accepted the fact that I am going to grow older in years, but don't have to in mind!! I like the sounds of that! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!! Love you all!

First Upgrade!!!

Well we finally got new living room furniture! Thought we would never find something that we both liked, but we did!! It is huge, and soooo comfy! Now we just have to decide what color to paint the walls!! Wonder what kind of cool stuff I will get for the house for my Birthday!!!! 8 days and counting!!!

This is what Rex enjoys doing all day long!! He goes from window to window looking for squirrels! It does no good to clean the lower windows in my house!!
